The owners of this home requested a contemporary design that is simple yet distinctive. Thus, the designer chose warm and heavy hues, which aptly portrays the occupant's laid-back personalities. To maximize the limited floor space, partitions were foregone to allow the design to flow freely from one room to another. To further create an illusion of spaciousness, large mirrors were used extensively, especially in the dining area. Warm, chocolate hues are still used in the bedroom, which stir a feeling of immense tranquility. Mirrors are once again used to create magic, expanding space and height.
The absence of partitions and walls allows the owners to do two things at once -- watch TV and enjoy their meals.
The designer makes the most out of the limited space with the strategic placement of large wall mirrors.
The inviting large bed creates the impression that this bedroom is the world’s most perfect spot for relaxing.
A flat screen TV mounted on the wall opposite the bed allows the homeowners a little telly entertainment before slumber.
Although unadorned, this "bed-inside-a-box" concept is already impressive enough, since it saves space.
